The Visibility page is your primary analytics command center for understanding how AI engines represent your brand over time. While the Overview gives you a snapshot, the Visibility page lets you analyze trends, compare against competitors, and drill into engine-specific performance.

How Visibility is Measured

Anymorph uses PAWC (Position-Adjusted Word Count) — the same metric from the Princeton KDD 2024 research — to measure your brand’s presence in AI responses. This means mentions at the top of a response count exponentially more than those buried at the bottom. Being mentioned first in a ChatGPT answer is worth far more than being listed last. Your visibility is expressed as a GEO Score (0—100, graded A—F), composed of six weighted sub-scores.

If your workspace has fewer than 15 days of data, the 7-day view is selected automatically. Give your tracking at least 2 weeks before drawing conclusions — AI visibility needs time to stabilize.

Visibility Score Card

A large card at the top left showing your overall visibility percentage (0—100) with a change badge (e.g., +5.2% vs previous period). Below the score, a line chart plots your visibility over the selected date range. If analysis is still running for recent dates, a dashed prediction line extends the trend. Consistent week-over-week growth of even 1—2% is excellent. Visibility in AI is a marathon, not a sprint. How to read the chart:
  • Steady upward slope — Your GEO strategy is working. Keep publishing and optimizing.
  • Flat line — You have plateaued. Time to create new GEO pages or refresh your Knowledge Base.
  • Sudden spike — A new GEO page may have been picked up, or a competitor dropped out. Check what changed.
  • Sudden drop — A competitor may have published compelling new content, or an AI engine updated its model. Investigate in the Mentions page.
Monthly citation variation of ~55% is normal — AI engines are non-deterministic. A single bad day does not mean your strategy failed. Focus on 30+ day trends rather than daily fluctuations.

Key Metrics

Four metric cards at the top right summarize your current performance:

Visibility Rank

Your position among all tracked competitors, displayed as an ordinal (e.g., “1st”, “3rd”). This tells you at a glance where you stand in the competitive landscape.

Avg Mentions

On average, how many times your brand is mentioned per AI response that includes you. Higher is better — it means AI engines are not just name-dropping you, but discussing you in depth. If this number is 1.0, engines mention you once and move on. If it is 2.5+, they are weaving your brand into multiple parts of the answer — a strong signal of authority.

Share of Voice (SOV)

Your percentage of all AI mentions in your tracked category, shown with a progress bar. This is a competitive metric — your SOV plus all competitors’ SOV equals 100%. SOV above 30% in a competitive category is strong. Below 15% means you have significant room to grow. Track the direction more than the absolute number.

Sentiment

A label (Positive, Neutral, or Negative) with a percentage and progress bar. The label is determined by the average sentiment score: above 0.15 is Positive, below -0.15 is Negative, otherwise Neutral. The percentage shows the proportion of mentions matching that label. Aim for 65%+ positive. If negative sentiment exceeds 20%, investigate which queries trigger negative responses and address them through your Knowledge Base.

Mention Coverage

A donut chart showing the proportion of AI responses that mention your brand versus those that do not. The center displays your mention rate percentage. The card header shows the count of responses that mention your brand. Next to the chart, an engine-by-engine breakdown shows each engine’s share of your total mentions. How to read it:
  • Center percentage — Your mention rate. If it says 42%, that means 42 out of every 100 tracked AI responses include your brand.
  • Ring segments — Each engine gets its own color segment; gray represents responses without mentions.
  • Engine breakdown — Shows which engines contribute the most to your total mentions.
What to aim for: A mention rate above 40% is strong in most categories. If one engine has a much lower mention share than others, that engine is your biggest opportunity for improvement.

Mention Rate

A bar chart showing each AI engine’s mention rate (the percentage of that engine’s responses that mention your brand). Engines are sorted from highest to lowest rate. When tracking 3 or fewer engines, horizontal bars are shown; otherwise, vertical bars are used. The card header displays the total number of analysis runs and the average responses per engine. What to look for: Compare engines side by side. If ChatGPT gives you 20% mention rate but Perplexity only gives you 4%, focus your next GEO pages on content formats that Perplexity prefers — fresh, citation-rich articles with Reddit-style authenticity.

Visibility Comparison Chart

A multi-line chart showing your brand versus the top 4 competitors over time. Your brand is always shown in blue, with competitors in distinct colors. What it means for you: This is the competitive intelligence chart. You can see:
  • Who is gaining momentum and who is losing it
  • Whether your growth is outpacing competitors or just matching the market
  • Moments where a competitor overtook you (or you overtook them)
If a competitor suddenly spikes, they likely published new optimized content or got picked up by a major source that AI engines cite. Study what they did and adapt your strategy.

Competitive Analysis Card

A ranked list of all tracked competitors with their visibility percentage or Share of Voice (switchable via a segment control). Each entry shows a favicon, name, score, and the change from the previous period. Your brand is highlighted with a “You” badge. The list is paginated with 5 entries per page. What to look for:
  • Competitors trending up — They are actively optimizing. Review their content strategy.
  • Competitors trending down — An opportunity to capture their share of voice.
  • Large gap above you — The leader has structural advantages (stronger domain, more content). Focus on niche intents where they are weak.

Top Citations Card

A ranked list of URLs from your domain that AI engines cite most frequently, with citation counts for each. What it means for you: These are your most “AI-friendly” pages. Study what makes them work:
  • Do they have clear, quotable statements?
  • Are they well-structured with headers and lists?
  • Do they contain original data or statistics?
Use these insights to make your other pages more citable.

Product Filter (Enterprise Only)

If your workspace is on the Enterprise plan, a product dropdown appears at the top of the page. This lets you analyze visibility for specific products rather than your entire brand. All charts and metrics recalculate for the selected product. Use case: An e-commerce brand with 500 products can filter to see “Running Shoes” visibility separate from “Hiking Boots” visibility, enabling product-level optimization decisions.

Pro Tips for Marketers

Every Monday, open the Visibility page with a 7-day range. Compare your trend line to competitors. Note any crossover points and investigate what caused them. This 5-minute habit prevents surprises.
Do not try to optimize for all engines at once. Pick the engine with the lowest mention rate and focus your next 3—5 GEO pages on that engine’s preferences.
Your most-cited pages are your competitive moat. Make sure they stay updated, accurate, and well-maintained. A top-cited page that goes stale can quickly lose its position.
Use the Report page to generate PDF exports of your visibility data for leadership presentations. The Visibility page is for analysis; the Report page is for communication.
