Page Editor is where you refine a page generated in On-Site. Request changes in natural language or edit the body directly.

This screen hasn’t been translated yet, so buttons and labels appear in English. This doc uses the exact English wording shown on screen.

Editing requires a generated preview build. You can’t edit a page that’s still generating or that failed to build.

Editing with AI chat

Type your request in natural language into the left panel’s input (Describe what to change…).
Each request shows a proposed change. Review it and decide whether to apply. Nothing changes until you apply it.
Being specific about what to change and which direction gets better results than a vague “make it better.” If you’re asking for more evidence, say what source to draw from.

Inserting blocks and generating images

Two more actions sit next to the chat input. Image generation has its own input (Describe the image you want to generate…): describe the image you want there.
Generated images follow the hero image style set in Design. If the brand tone is off, check that setting first.

Editing directly

Select text on the rendered page to bring up an inline toolbar.

Comments

Leave notes on a specific block and discuss it in a thread.
  • Open and close the rail with Show comments (n) in the top right
  • Write in the input (Add a comment…) and post with Comment
  • Comments are pinned to a block, and the block they’re attached to is shown
Comments aren’t part of the page content and don’t appear on the published page.

Saving and publishing

Handled from the top bar. Save state shows as Not saved, Saved just now, or the last save time. With no changes, it shows No unpublished changes and Publish is disabled. A confirmation appears before publishing. Publishing an already-live page replaces the live content.
Publishing changes the real page on your domain. If the page is already being cited by AI, confirm the core facts are still intact before you publish.

Co-editing

A banner appears when someone else is editing the same page. It’s not a hard lock; click Take over to claim editing rights.
Taking over can interrupt the other person’s in-progress work. Confirm before you use it.

Structure first

Set the section layout and flow through chat first. Polishing sentences before the structure is settled means redoing that work.

Strengthen the evidence

Check that every claim has supporting evidence, and add sources where it’s thin. AI citation hinges on specific facts.

Polish sentences

Clean up phrasing with inline edits.

Review

Collect team feedback through comments.

Publish

Publish, then request indexing from On-Site.

Troubleshooting

Editing requires a generated preview build. Wait for generation to finish, or regenerate the page if the build failed.
Take over claims editing rights, but it can interrupt the other person’s work. Confirm before using it.
Don’t apply it. Make your request more specific and try again. Naming exactly what to change and which direction gets more accurate results. If a message says the edit failed, just ask again.
Save draft and Publish are different. Publish is required for the live page to update.
You’re either in a No unpublished changes state or the page is still loading. It activates once you make and save a change.
